Help us with this project, add your contribution

Please get involved with this project, we need your input.

There are several ways you can assist us to improve this website:

1) Our 'Explore' section offers the reader access to articles that take an in-depth look at topics raised in the Bevans letters. If you would like to prepare a paper on any topic raised in the Bevan and Dewar correspondence we would be very interested to see your work and, with your agreement, perhaps to publish it in this section. If you would like to make a contribution, please email the work you have prepared to curator.bevanletters@rth.org.uk.

2) We have taken great care to carefully transcribe the Bevan family letters. However, inevitably when manuscript is read and keyed-entered, errors are made. These might be due to a volunteer finding it impossible to read or interpret a particular piece of text, or to a simple typographical mistake. Whatever the cause, we would like our users to assist us improve the records in this section of our website. If, while looking at the graphic files showing the originals of the letters, you have identified what you consider to be an error in our transcription of a document, please contact us by using the 'send this' link at the bottom of each letter in the archive. Copy the incorrect text in the letter into the body of the message and type your proposed correction underneath, we will review your submission and update the letter when required.

Thank you in advance for your assistance
